Brooklyn’s Werewolves mix elements of soulful psychedelia and ambient textures with improvisation and experimentation that draw inspiration ranging from Phillip Glass to John Cage and Neil Young. The band features a group of talented multi-instrumentalists: Mike Maio (electric guitar, fender rhodes bass, vocals), Turner Halsey (electric guitar, piano, wurlitzer, organ, vocals), Kimberly Arrigo (baritone guitar, bass guitar), Brian Amsterdam (organs, vocals, electric guitar, rhodes, wurlitzer), and Ben Newman (drums, percussion) featuring feedback, fuzz, and synths. On the Werewolves’ debut full-length Dance Raincoat Glass the band continues to experiment with their trademark brand of atmospherically charged and chaotic indie rock.
