Discovery is Rostam Batmaglij’s (Vampire Weekend) and Wes Miles’ (Ra Ra Riot) collaborative side project exploring where electro, pop, and R&B meet. Recorded over a three and a half year period, LP is a playful mix of eclectic, intelligent songwriting and genre blending culminating in a record that grows on you with each listen. LP takes root in contemporary R&B but blends elements of ’80s club tunes, hip-hop, and Jamaican dancehall that is both tongue-in-cheek and wonderfully fun.
