Dustin Welch, son of acclaimed country singer-songwriter Kevin Welch, releases his solo debut Whiskey Priest – a southern rock album with kick-ass guitars, bass and heavy drums accented by Tricia Keefer’s violin and Welch’s vocals and guitar/banjo/mandolin. Whiskey Priest is brooding with vocal repetitions and a punk attitude that draws upon country, rock and Americana/roots traditions.
