Keep in Mind Frankenstein – the second release from Mat Brooke (Band of Horses, Carissa’s Weird) – is a stunning set of indie folk-pop songs. The album features expansive production, lofty harmonies and is generally more somber than 08’s self-titled debut. Keep in Mind Frankenstein is brooding and draws from a diverse range of inspiration including a lament about Thomas Edison’s electrocution of a rogue Coney Island elephant. Guests include Jenn Ghetto and Sera Cahoone (both of Carissa’s Weird).
