Night Bats is the new EP by Portland’s Loch Lomond, a band that has earned a healthy following in the Pacific Northwest for their upbeat chamber pop shows. They recently toured with The Decemberists, and while the quintet has a full-length release planned for Spring ‘10, Night Bats is a sampling of what’s in store for fans. The EP starts off strong with “Ghost of an Earthworm,” a rousing pop tune about a childhood dream about giant worms.
