Kids Aflame, the solo effort by guitarist Todd Goldstein (a.k.a. ARMS) of Harlem Shakes, is a completely charming album that blends lo-fi with melodic crooning. These are songs that make you feel lonely and exhilarated at the same time. Goldstein’s jangly guitar sets the solemn tone of “Fall,” while the up-tempo “Whirring” has a sense of optimism.
