Pittsburgh based quintet Good Night States marries organic Americana sounds with electronic blips into meta indie pop. Their debut Short Films On Self-Control alternates between roots rock and lighthearted pop songs featuring sunny duet style harmonies, handclaps and electronic noises, giving the album an infectious upbeat quality. Songs fluctuate between rock songs like “Killer Of The One” and sing-alongs like “Not Come Around.”
