Brothers of End is a trio from Stockholm composed of journalist/musician Mattias Areskog (vocals, bass, guitar, piano) and two members of The Cardigans, Bengt Lagerberg (vocals and drums) and Lars-Olof Johansson Ståle (vocals, guitar, piano). The band’s debut album, The End, was released on their own label Konjaga and is a lovely collection of sedate pop, full of lush vocal harmonies, glimmering soundscapes and leisurely melodies. The End is a solid debut, some standouts include “Why,” “FC vs Dynasty,” ”Beats for You” and “What’s Wrong With That.” – Written by JFelton
