The Besnard Lakes – the Montreal collective fronted by husband-and-wife duo Olga Goreas and Jace Lasek – blend dreamy atmospherics, soaring melodies and classic rock nostalgia. Their latest The Besnard Lakes Are the Roaring Night is complete with pulp tales of spies, out-of-control rock stars, imagined wars, codes and double-crosses.
