Keep your eyes out in February for Work, the third full-length release from Sweden’s Shout Out Louds. This indie-pop band is known for its sensitive, nostalgic pop songs led by Adam Olenius’ dramatic vocals. Recorded in Seattle and produced by Phil Ek (The Shins, Fleet Foxes, Band of Horses, Modest Mouse), Work represents a stripped-down set of songs from the Stockholm five-piece. First single “Walls,” available as a free download on their website, starts off fairly quiet with a simple, yet effective, piano hook that builds in tempo and complexity.
