Toronto’s The Henrys – primarily slide guitarist Don Rooke with a rotating cast of collaborators – released Is This Tomorrow their first album in seven years. Their previous four discs were primarily instrumental, but this time around there is a new vocal focus giving The Henrys a more complete sound. Is This Tomorrow is a warm, atmospheric album that pleasantly reveals itself with multiple listens and includes dobro, lap steel, National steel, Hawaiian King, sintir (three-string African lute) and trademark kona alongside traditional guitar, bass and drums. – Written by JFelton
