The Growlers formed in 06 and have since performed throughout California selling hand crafted CD’s, slowly building loyal following. The band consists of Brooks Nielson (vocals), Scott Montoya (bass guitar, vocals), Matt Taylor (lead guitar, vocals) and Brian Stewart (drums, vocals). Their music is rooted in 60’s rock and roll and skiffle fused with a variety other genres, ranging from hip hop to psychedelic rock. Over the course of one full length and eight EP’s, they honed their songwriting and recording skills, with the best appearing on the compilation Are You In or Out?
