Golden Ages – Tradition

  • April 13, 2010

Golden Ages is the moniker for a one-man music project based out of a bedroom in Philadelphia. Last year’s Sitting Softly On The Sea EP gave listeners a sign of what was to come with his full length release, Tradition. Golden Ages makes loud, psychedelic electronic pop that has the dreamy melodies and found sounds of Panda Bear mixed with spacey soundscapes and beats. The layers of sounds mixed with wistful, vague vocals have a transportive effect, which for this writer, is one of the greatest things about electronic music. Press play, turn up the volume, and prepare to get lost. – Written by DBosket
