Robin Grey – Strangers with Shoes

  • April 19, 2010

British indie folkster and singer/songwriter Robin Grey follows-up 08’s stellar Following the Missile with his second full length, Strangers with Shoes. Grey’s clever, poetic lyrics, gorgeous vocal arrangements and deadpan delivery often draw complimentary comparison to Bob Dylan, a strong claim but one Grey continually proves has some merit. Strangers with Shoes combines string instruments, piano, acoustic guitar, percussions, vocals and accordion with hook heavy melodies that make each track interesting and unique. Again Grey brings fans and new listeners a collection of original songs that are instantly likeable. – Written by JFelton
