New Orleans-based quintet Giant Cloud blends classic psychedelia and indie rock with lush harmonies and arrangements. Giant Cloud takes their cues from the psychedelia of the past as well as a host of more contemporary musicians ranging from the spacious reverb of Beach House and Grizzly Bear to the vintage sunny pop sounds of M. Ward and She & Him. The five songs on the EP gradually move from delicate folk influences with the wispy vocals of Julie Odell and Benjamin Jones to more intricate and dense arrangements.
