Spencer (former frontman of punk band Pussy Galore) and the Blues Explosion took roots rock, blues, R&B, and even funk and twist and turned them into something both dirty and irresistibly seductive. A collection of veritable ‘best of JSBE tracks, Dirty Shirt Rock ‘N Roll features some of their top tracks including “Afro”, “Bellbottoms” and “Wail.“ Rarities and stray tracks hold their own, from the Japan-only live album Controversial Negro; A Ass Pocket of Whiskey (a collaboration with R.L.
