A collaborative recording project between the bands The Cape May and Run Chico Run, The Pale Air Singers’ debut album is rich with layered, vocal harmonies and a complex interplay of rhythm and instrumentation. The album was improvisational, recorded in two intense sessions in Victoria and Calgary, and features playful vocals, interweaving guitars, dreary trumpet touches, vaudevillian style keys, and scattered drum beats. The self-titled debut album is confident and spontaneous and hits the stores on May 19.
