Starfucker is an indie pop/indie electro band comprised of Sexton Blake’s Josh Hodges, Ryan Bjornstad, and Shawn Glassford. Less than a year after their acclaimed debut album, this Portland, OR quartet returns with eight tongue-in-cheek, infectiously danceable electropop songs. The 26 minute mini-album Jupiter includes a cover of Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Want to Have Fun.” Starfucker has been compared to groups like Chromeo and Passion Pit, but could just as easily be associated with Air, Fujiya and Miyagi, and Dan Deacon.
