Bi-coastal band (NY and Seattle) The Hotels’ sophomore release Where Hearts Go Broke is an extremely catchy release with a combination of angular guitars and keyboards, upbeat melodies, staid vocals, clever bass lines, and solid drumming rounding out the cinematic sound. The Hotels’ music is an homage to great New Wave and post-punk era bands with a fresh and exciting sound that is fast paced, melodic pop music. The Hotels already seem to be garnering a fair amount of buzz on the web and is band worth keeping an ear out for in the future.
