Vancouver indie folk four-piece Corbin Murdoch and the Nautical Miles began in 2003 and built a repertoire of richly textured and emotionally complex folk songs steeped in the natural and emotional histories of the Pacific Northwest. The latest record Wartime Lovesong is an album that juxtaposes generational differences about war and protest while struggling to find purpose in unsettling times. The album is politically charged and deeply personal; the Nautical Miles have once again created a dynamic and touching record.
