Record Dept. Music Reviews aspires to provide a quick and concise resource for music reviews. Our reviews are boiled down to the essence of what the music is about be it a howl, a prayer, or a lament. The Record Dept. primarily covers Indie Rock, Lo-Fi, Indie Pop, Bluegrass, Alt. Country, Neo-Traditional and Traditional Country, Americana, Roots Rock, Rock, Folk and Blues to ensure that fans are always up to date.


SUBMISSIONS

Record Dept. Music Reviews prefers submissions via CD. However, mp3 and aiff formats are also acceptable via email. Be aware that email submissions run the risk of rejection due to email server space or virus protection software.

No singles, send full albums, EP’s or complete demos. Include your band’s information including: description, genre, contact info and images*. Please note that we reserve the right to post up to three free sample tracks to listeners. Under most circumstances we will use the artist’s initial genre request but reserve the right to review/categorize your music as we see fit.
