Brooklyn trio Antlers made a name for themselves with 2009’s Hospice, and now they are back with more of their unique and finely crafted orchestral chamber pop on Burst Apart. The band consistently creates gorgeous and intricate textures through melodies and electronics, also incorporating guitar, drums and keyboards. Often sonic experimentation can feel too other-worldly or dwell too deep in electronic effects and mechanics. However Antlers achieve a sound that resonates with the audience.
