Ben Fisher – Charleston

  • April 7, 2014

22 year old Seattle based folk singer/songwriter Ben Fisher follows his debut album, Heavy Boots & Underwoods, with his second full-length release, Charleston. Fisher brands his music as “wordy-folk” which is a blend of folk and country reminiscent of Townes Van Zandt’s story driven songs, and this set of eleven simple southern singles do quiet justice to the beloved region. Standouts include the folk-rocking title track; the wistful ballad “Magnolia Lane”; and opener “Mason Jar.” Check out Fisher’s finely crafted collection; you won’t be disappointed. – Written by JFelton
