Reviver, the third album from Brooklyn indie pop outfit Callers, is a captivating listen full of brilliant guitar melodies, intricate rhythms, and enthralling vocals. This time around the album focuses on themes of renewal and rebirth over the tracks like the warm opener “Good Years”, the super catchy “Heroes”, the soulful “Long Control”, the slightly Joni Mitchell reminiscent “Crush Times”, “It’s a Ringer”, and the dramatic closer “Howard 2 Hands.” Core members and collaborators Sara Lucas and Ryan Seato have created a masterful record in Reviver with their innovative take on pop music, stellar songwriting and production.
