Ontario, Canada native Daniel Romano is a singer/songwriter who channels 70’s-era honky tonk sound with country crooning. Come Cry With Me is Romano’s 4th album which pays tribute to the traditional country sounds throughout a collection of songs about booze, romance, and hard luck stories. Romano’s nasally vocals recall Willie Nelson and croon earnestly across the ten tracks. A few highlights are: the sunny steel guitar and all-female harmonies on “Middle Child”, the upbeat story of “Chicken Bill’s”, the love ballads “Two Pillow Sleeper” and “Just Before The Moment”, and the stripped down closing track “A New Love (Can Be Found)”.
