Frontier Ruckus – Eternity of Dimming

  • April 8, 2013

Lansing, MI based folk rockers Frontier Ruckus recently released their third full-length, Eternity of Dimming. This twenty song, two-disc follow-up to Deadmalls & Nightfalls is a collection of tight, short tracks that comemorate and reflect on life in suburban Michigan. Led by talented singer-songwriter Matthew Milia, the works by the four-piece are characteristically lyrically intensive and function as a fitting closure to their trilogy on landscapes and urban decay. They’ve turned up heavier elements such as bass, electric guitar, and drums while retaining a charming folk feel. Standout track include the title track, “In Protection of Sylvan Manor”, and “Dealerships.” – Written by SMarx
