Seattle’s Hey Marseilles return with their second album, “Lines We Trace” – an elegant set of chamber folk-pop. Guitars, drums, cello, piano, trumpet, accordion and more combine beautifully with Matt Bishop’s tenor vocals, breezy harmonies, and touching melodies. The songs on Lines We Trace are smart and heartfelt; and a few notable tracks are: the swirling opening track, “Tides”; the emotional and stormy “Heart Beats”; the waltz-like “Elegy”; and “Cafe Lights” which is reminiscent of 60’s era Paul Simon.
