Israel Nash – Israel Nash’s Silver Season

  • November 23, 2015

Israel Nash follows-up his critically acclaimed 2013 album Rain Plans with Israel Nash’s Silver Season, a tour de force written and recorded at Plum Creek Sound, Nash’s 1,400 square-foot Quonset hut-turned-studio located outside of Austin, TX. Recorded to tape with Grammy-award winning engineer Ted Young (Kurt Vile, Sonic Youth, The Rolling Stones), the collection of nine tracks was inspired by the surrounding hill country, resulting in an expansive LP filled with an acid-soaked 1970’s psychedelic Americana vibe. A few notable tracks are: the single “Strangers”; the Neil Young Harvest era inspired “Lavendula”; the epic “LA Lately”; and the brooding “Parlour Song.” Israel Nash’s Silver Season is another stellar release worth picking up if you have not already. – Written by JFelton
