Following 2010’s award winning Harlem River Blues, Justin Townes Earle is releasing his fourth solo album, Nothings Gonna Change The Way You Feel About Me Now. With co-producer Skylar Wilson again at his side, Earle creates ten finely crafted songs that are down tempo and haunting, grappling with personal demons and identity. Whereas Harlem River Blues was an ode to his adopted hometown of NYC, Nothings is steeped in the soul and sounds of Memphis. Earle has said that the artists’ role is to be in transition and learn; this work doesn’t demonstrate Earle’s lessons learned so much as it is the education itself – the process of Earle immersing in yet another style and making it his own. – Written by JFelton
