Vivian Girls bassist/vocalist Katy Goodman recently released her second solo album as La Sera, Sees the Light. Like her debut, this full-length has elements of shoegaze and pop but this time around she dials-up the energy and brings punk and garage pop to the mix. Goodman takes on more, stepping up with songwriting in addition to her bass and vocal duties and is accompanied by producer Rob Barbato (Darker My Love) on guitar.
