Here We Go Magic – A Different Ship

  • July 11, 2012

Brooklyn quintet Here We Go Magic follow-up their successful 2010 release Pigeons with the heavily Radiohead imbued and enchanting A Different Ship. What began as a solo psych folk project for frontman Luke Temple evolved into a collective known for their expansive, sonic soundscapes which garnered fans at high profile festivals such as Bonnaroo and Glastonbury and captured the attention of Thom Yorke, who cited Here We Go Magic as his favorite act. Nigel Godrich (a.k.a. the “sixth” member of Radiohead) produced the collection, lending focus and polish to the band’s charming mix. Check out notable singles, “How Do I Know”, “Make Up Your Mind”, and “I Believe in Action” for a taste of this different direction. – Written by SMarx
