Austin based band Mayeux and Broussard are Tate Mayeux (vocals, acoustic guitar) and Brian Broussard (lead guitar, vocals) along with Taylor Englert (drums), Misha Ben-David (bass), and Matt Wiley (lap steel, mandolin, banjo), and they are out with their debut album of country and blues, While the Gittin’s Good. The set of ten tracks features a charming mix of country, rock and blues steeped in homegrown Texas and Louisiana influences and reminiscent of Hayes Carll and Ray Wylie Hubbard.
