Mount Moriah’s sophomore release and debut on Merge Records, Miracle Temple, expands their sonic palette with expansive arrangements and more prominent guitars, bolder vocals and soulful rhythms than on their acclaimed self-titled debut. The North Carolina based band redefines the south – their home – as a place filled with new customs and ideas, not simply a place or culture tied to tradition.
