Brooklyn indie rock band The National is coming-up on their fifteenth year together and their sixth full-length, Trouble Will Find Me, is their best and most accessible work to date. While showcasing their trademark darkness, literate lyrics, talented guitars, and the affecting baritone of lead Matt Berninger, their latest release takes a more laidback pop-inflected approach. In addition to touring and producing the album, the band has been featured in a couple of the highest rated television shows through their contributions to Game of Thrones’ season 2 finale and a cover on Boardwalk Empire.
