Papercuts – You Can Have What You Want

  • February 23, 2009

You Can Have What You Want continues the Papercuts’ exploration of fuzzy, opiate-induced pop songs. Their latest album is recorded on analog for its warmer retro quality with guitar and vocals masked in a distorted reverb haze. This atmospheric vibe is accompanied by pulsing bass, rhythmic drumming and wobbly organ sounds harkening back to the 60’s era Zombies and reverb heavy bands from the 80’s and 90’s. Due out on April 14th.
