Nashville based Patrick Rickelton (Prattle On, Rick) self-released his debut EP of indie folk, Communion Bread, in January 2010. In conjunction with that release and the commencement of a new decade, he set on an ambitious pace to put out a new instrumental song (from scratch) every month to his mailing list recipients. As so often happens, life had other plans, with the May floods in Nashville wreaking havoc on Rickelton’s production, the first of many major life changes (parenthood, jobs), resulting in a delayed 12 track effort which is just now available. Gone are the tender vocals and collaboration with members of The Vespers, but what remains is Rickelton’s innate sense of melody.
