Brooklyn based indie/psych pop band Snowmine was initially formed by three friends – Grayson Sanders (keys, vocals), Jay Goodman (bass), and Alex Beckman (drums) – and their debut album Laminate Pet Animal is an orchestral gem. The nine songs defy any single genre, incorporating afrobeat, psych pop, ambient sounds, and electro-acoustics as well as charming melodies and lush instrumentation (horns, strings – its all there).
