Austin, TX based Sons of Fathers are the founding duo of David Beck and Paul Cauthen joined by Regan Schmidt (guitar) and Dees Stribling (drums). Despite being briefly sidelined by a cease and desist order from Beck of “Loser” fame, the band formerly known as Beck & Cauthen is releasing their self-titled debut featuring Texas tinged Americana complete with infectious melodies and soaring harmonies. Sons of Fathers is co-produced by Lloyd Maines, who brings warmth to the production values and also contributes dobro and pedal steel.
