Steve Earle – I’ll Never Get Out of This World Alive

  • June 14, 2011

Legendary singer-songwriter, political activist and Grammy award winner Steve Earle recently released his 14th studio album I’ll Never Get out of This World Alive (which is also the name of Hank Williams’ last song and Earle’s debut novel). Over the course of the eleven original tracks, which includes “This City” – a song featured on HBO’s New Orleans based show Treme, where Earle has a recurring role as a street musician – Earle continues to capture audiences with his stories about life’s difficulties and morality and move them with his passionate country rock music. To top it off, T-Bone Burnett produces this great album; standout tracks include opener “Waitin’ on the Sky”, “God is God”, and “Every Part of Me.” – Written by JFelton
