KITTY, DAISY AND LEWIS | SMOKING IN HEAVEN
Multi-instrumentalist sibling trio Kitty, Daisy & Lewis take to analog again for their authentically recorded homage to the sounds of America’s yesteryear on Smoking in Heaven. These North Londoners throw themselves wholeheartedly into rockabilly, jazz, blues, r&b, country, retro Jamaican ska, and even traditional Hawaiian folk and the result is a lively collection that is not to be missed. While earlier efforts have included involvement of their father Graeme and their mother Ingrid Weiss (The Raincoats), Smoking in Heaven enjoys additional support from celebrated Jamaican horn players Eddie “Tan-Tan” Thornton and Rico Rodriguez. Standout singles include “Tomorrow”, ” I’m Going Back”, and ” I’m So Sorry.” – Written by JFelton
