THE WAILING WALL | LOW HANGING FRUIT
New York based multi-instrumentalist The Wailing Wall (a.k.a. Jesse Rifkin) follows-up his exceptional debut, Hospital Blossoms, with the equally stellar Low Hanging Fruit. With a vibrant, homegrown sound, Rifkin reveals his struggles with faith, questioning the beliefs learned while attending an Orthodox school growing up. Produced by Tim Fite, The Low Hanging Fruit pairs classic folk and roots music with the sounds of multicultural devotional music and instruments such as the sitar, singing saw, pipe organ and more. A testimony to his skills, The Wailing Wall has been joined live and on record by a number of notable contemporary musicians including members of Titus Andronicus and Camera Obscura as well as Pepi Ginsberg.. – Written by JFelton

THE WAILING WALL | HOSPITAL BLOSSOMS
Fans of introspective indie music should check-out The Wailing Wall’s debut album Hospital Blossoms where the hardships of life – the grim and poetic, the natural and religious – are embraced as learning and growing experiences. NYC-based musician Jesse Rifkin and a talented group of musicians showcase a wide range of instrumentation throughout the album with Rifkin himself playing everything from guitar to gamelan, mandolin to accordion and harmonica to harmonium. Hospital Blossoms is a polished, gorgeously orchestrated and a stunning release.
