TOBACCO PAT | THE DESTROYER
Jacksonville singer/songwriter Logan Farmer (a.k.a. Tobacco Pat) is back with The Destroyer – the final EP in his Apocalypse series on ways that the world may end. According to Farmer, “The Destroyer is more hopeful but sinister than its predecessors…Its lyrics are less personal than The Plague and more philosophical than The War.” Both The Destroyer and the EP series itself are raw and edgy, pulling no punches, and feature some great new indie/lo-fi folk from up-and-coming, creative new talent. TOBACCO PAT | THE PLAGUE
Tobacco Pat (a.k.a. Logan Farmer), is a young singer/songwriter from Jacksonville, FL who crafts tender introspective songs with elegant melodies. Farmer’s music evokes the lyrical mastery of both the contemporary (Bright Eyes) and classic (Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan). Tobacco Pat has released two EP’s, The War and The Plague, and his full length Everything Will Be Oklahoma is due out in September. The EP’s are apocalyptic documents about how the world may end. The War has a richer quality whereas The Plague is more sparse and lo-fi. Tobacco Pat is an up-and-coming talent showcasing dark, foreboding Americana that is gothic and arresting.
