Turf War – Years of Living Dangerously

  • December 5, 2011

Turf War is a rock band with punk attitude that is making a name for itself in the Atlanta, Georgia music scene after honing their chops for three years in Augusta (home of the major U.S. golf tournament, The Masters). Originally the solo project of frontman John Robinson, over time the line-up expanded to include Brian McGrath (drums, backing vocals), Cecil Moss (guitar), Bradley Morris (bass), and Ian McDonald. Turf War recently took their gig national, playing at Austin’s SXSW in March 2011, where they hooked-up with their label Old Flame Records. The fruit of that partnership is an 11 track collection of rowdy rock with palpable energy and love of the dirty south.
