WIM – WIM

  • December 7, 2011

WIM is a new band that I am really excited about. Hailing from Sydney, Australia, the five piece recently finished their mini U.S. tour in support of their self-titled debut release. Judging on the quality of the company they keep, like local producer Tony Buchan (Andy Bull, Kid Confucius) and award winning mixer Bob Clearmountain (Springsteen, INXS, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones), WIM is poised for success. Not only are their dreamy pop and rock songs catchy and melodic, they are carefully crafted arrangements that specialize in building moods with mounting orchestration. Top tracks include opener “Colossus”, “See You Hurry”, and “Something For You.” Keep your ears out for this up-and-coming band that is sure to be an international sensation. – Written by JFelton
