Knoxville, TN Americana band The Black Lillies are making local waves with their unique blend of country, Appalachian, honky tonk, and folk rock. The five piece – songwriter Cruz Contreras (vocals), Trisha Gene Brady (vocals), Tom Pryor (multi-instrumental), Robert Richards (bass) and Jamie Cook (drums) – toured extensively the past few years, attending festivals like Bonnaroo, CMA Fan Fair, Pickathon, Grand Ole Opry and gaining fans along the way with their talented instrumentation which includes banjo, pedal steel, piano and tight harmonies. Their third album, Runaway Freeway Blues, is a classic album about life on the road while also being road tested.
