Bonnie “Prince” Billy (aka Will Oldham) follows-up his 2017’s Wolf of the Cosmos – a cover album of Susanna Sonata’s Sonata Mix Dwarf Cosmos – making I Made a Place his first set of new original songs since 2011’s subdued Wolfroy Goes to Town. I Made a Place is filled with upbeat country and delicate acoustic songs that are introspective, a bit off-kilter, and joyful.
