Brothers Young – Good People EP

  • November 1, 2010

Portland’s Brothers Young – a trio of brothers Dillon, Dustin and Michael and their friends Levi Cecil, Travis Girton and Trevino Brings – released a stellar sophomore EP of experimental indie folk/pop called Good People EP. On this follow-up to “The Sun Says He’s God”, Brothers Young sport an indie pop style in the vein of Shins and Menomena while they spin beautiful melodies about the joys and struggles of life. Standout tracks include “Disorient the Night” and “Devon’s Song”. Good People is one of the more daring yet still accessible records I’ve heard this year. – Written by JFelton
