Nashville bluegrass quintet, High Fidelity, is in their words “a traditional bluegrass band comprised of young musicians with a passion for the past.” The band is Jeremy Stephens (banjo, guitar), Corrina Logston Stephens (fiddle), Daniel Amick (mandolin), Kurt Stephenson (banjo, guitar) and Vickie Vaughan (bass). High Fidelity’s Hills and Home LP covers 14 rare and lesser-known tracks from legendary bluegrass and country musicians including: A.P. Carter, Charlie Monroe, Jim & Jesse, Reno & Smiley, Louvin Brothers, Charlie Monroe, and more. Album highlights from include: the Charlie Monroe track “My Mother’s White Rose”; a cover of A.P. Carter’s “I Ain’t Gonna Work Tomorrow”; the Jim & Jesse track, “I Will Always Be Waiting For You”; and the closer, “Will The Circle Be Unbroken” by Ada R. Habershon and Charles Gabriel.
