My Morning Jacket follows-up their tepid 2008 jam band album Evil Urges, with their sixth studio album, and it is one of their best. Circuital was recorded live in Louisville, KY and Nashville, TN and co-produced by frontman Jim James and Tucker Martine (R.E.M., Sufjan Stevens, The Decemberists).
