Tim and Sam’s Tim and the Sam Band with Tim and Sam – Life Stream

  • June 21, 2010

Leave the city behind and prepare to drift through the countryside with Life Stream, the debut album from Tim and Sam’s Tim and the Sam Band with Tim and Sam. Luckily, it doesn’t take long to get over the band’s ridiculous name and get sucked in by this album’s uplifting and charming songs. The four-piece from North Wales formed two years ago and have since played over 200 shows. A combination of folk and rock, using a myriad of instruments, including glockenspiel, clarinet, banjo, violin, and piano, most of the songs are instrumental with vocals added judiciously that serve as a complementing instrument rather than a main focus for the song. Not too saccharine-sweet, Tim and Sam seem to have the formula all figured out. – Written by DBosket
